Our editorial mission
Who we are
Naturopathic Science is an independent research publication focused on peptide pharmacology, bioregulator science, mitochondrial biology, and evidence-based longevity research. We translate primary literature — clinical trials, in vitro studies, mechanistic reviews — into accessible, accurate summaries for informed readers.
We launched because most public-facing content on these topics is written by supplement marketers, not researchers. Our goal is to change that: every claim we make is traceable to a peer-reviewed source.
Editorial standards
Every article on this site is grounded in peer-reviewed literature. We cite primary sources — PubMed-indexed studies, clinical trials, and systematic reviews — rather than secondary commentary or marketing materials. Where evidence is limited, preliminary, or conflicting, we say so explicitly.
We apply a five-point editorial checklist to every piece published:
- Primary literature must support all mechanistic claims
- Human trial data is distinguished from animal or in vitro data
- Sample sizes, confidence intervals, and study limitations are noted
- Absence of evidence is not presented as evidence of absence
- No dosing recommendations without published clinical data
Author credentials
Content is researched and written by contributors with backgrounds in biochemistry, pharmacology, and clinical nutrition. Contributors hold or are pursuing postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields. All editorial decisions are reviewed before publication.
Where an article covers a compound, device, or protocol with commercial applications, it is flagged with a conflict of interest notice if any contributor has a relevant financial interest.
Conflict of interest disclosure
Naturopathic Science earns referral commissions when readers purchase products through affiliate links in our articles. These links do not influence editorial direction — articles are researched and written independently of commercial relationships. Affiliate relationships are disclosed within each article that contains them.
We do not accept paid placement, sponsored content, or payment in exchange for editorial coverage. Product mentions reflect our editorial assessment of the evidence.
Medical disclaimer
All content on this site is published for research and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Peptides and bioregulators exist in a complex regulatory landscape — their legal status varies by jurisdiction, and many discussed here are available for research purposes only.
Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before commencing, modifying, or discontinuing any health protocol. The authors of this site are not responsible for actions taken based on information presented here.
Corrections
We welcome factual corrections from researchers and clinicians. When errors are identified, we update the article and note the correction at the bottom of the piece. Science evolves — our content should too.
